Aurora

Aurora Aksnes (born June 15 on the 15th of June, 1996 from Stavanger) is the name of a Norwegian artist and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves is an album released in May 2015 by Decca Records. It has been praised by the media and bloggers. Half the World Away, by the Oasis band, was released for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole are among her best-known songs. Katy Perry posted a video that she supported Runaway. This brought her some recognition. Make it a day to celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes' first musical memories involve finding a tiny piano hidden in the basement, and being fascinated at the sound it created. Jan Oystein Aksnes' parents May Britt Aksnes urged her to pursue music for personal growth, rather than to earn a living or to pursue an interest. Thus, she began her own compositions. As well as Bjork as well, she mentions Leonard Cohen as an influence. Her mother encouraged her to perform her music publicly, not to gain fame but rather to let others know the importance of their work and how they can make a difference for the world. When she was six She began playing the piano and at nine began writing her own songs. The family did not know about this until she was 14. There was no way she could have imagined to become Aurora. As she says, she loves writing music. According to her, music is the best way to express anything.
