Morgan was a featured actress on the AIDS prevention and educational video Safe Sex for Men and Women. A portion of the profits were donated toward the American Foundation for AIDS Research. She is part of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan is a member of the Entertainment Industry's AIDS Task Group. She also has led numerous other fundraising initiatives to combat AIDS and also testified before a specially-created Congressional Commission about AIDS Education. She sits on the board of Governors of APLA. C. Everett Koop asked her at times to take his spot in AIDS events. And she co-hosted a AIDS Awareness Special together with news anchorman Steve Bell. Ted Koppell interviewed Morgan twice for Nightline about AIDS. Morgan received an Emmy nomination for her particular episode on Murphy Brown written for her by Diane English. In spring, she was a guest as Joan Rivers on ABC's Your Money or Your Wife. The summer was kicked off with Murder At The PTA Luncheon. The production, Von Zerneck/Sertner, also featured Cindy Williams and Marla Gabbs. Her next film took her to Luxembourg in which she appeared as Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady in Harmony Gold's production. Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee were also in the show. Morgan also played in an action-packed psychological thriller created exclusively for USA Network. This thriller garnered the best ratings of all time for that network.
