Antonina Shevchenko is Antonina Shevchenko, a Kyrgyzstani Muay-Thai fighter from Peru as well as a mixed martial artist who is who is a part of in the UFC in the Flyweight Division. She is a Kyrgyzstani. She is the older sister of her fellow UFC fighter and the former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko started her journey into combat sports as a Muay Thai boxer. Shevchenko made her debut at the IFMA World Championship Tournament of 2003. Shevchenko beat Roxanne Modafferi in a split-decision fight, after prevailing in the initial fight by unanimity. Antonina was able to bounce back from the loss by defeating Lucie Pudilova at UFC on ESPN Covington against Lawler by a rear-naked choke submission. She was awarded the prize of fight-of-the-night. Shevchenko lost 1-2 in her next 3-fights beating Ariane Lipski before losing to Katlyn Chookagian, and Andrea Lee.
